US WEBCAST – Copper, gold trading at fresh highs in Wednesday session

Copper futures started the new month on a optimistic note after unexpectedly bad service data pressured the dollar lower. Gold was also benefitting from a weaker dollar and was last trading around $1,350 per ounce. The poor data has raised questions on whether the Fed can lift rates in a couple of weeks, but until then, expect markets to be laser-focused on Fed member speeches and comments.
